As we got ready for church this morning, Hailey and Noah would go through the house for whatever reason and slam all the doors. I turned to Juli and said, “We need a FHE lesson on being careful around Joslin and not slamming doors.”

Noah, in his little kid wisdom said, “Dad, we also need a lesson in not hitting.”

5 minutes later: “Dad, we need a lesson in not screaming.”

10 minutes later: “Dad, we need a lesson on not messing up the blinds.”

15 minutes later: “Dad, (long pause) we need a lot of lessons don’t we?”

I turned and smiled and said, “yes son, we do.”
