When we moved to Utah, I was told and was under the impression that I would be moving to basketball heaven. A game every morning and night, some church somewhere would have a pickup game going on. Well, I am here to tell you that it is not true. This morning I woke up early because I was told that they play Saturday mornings at the church house. Well, I got up and drove down there only to find an empty parking lot. What a dreadful feeling to turn the corner to see that no one is there. Depressing. So I kept going, driving aimlessly looking for another church building. I found five of them. Quite amazing really. We are so used to driving 20 minutes at least before seeing a church. Anyways, none of them had cars parked in the parking lot indicating a game was being played inside.

I guess I was not good enough a player in Arizona because I sure didn’t make it to heaven here.
